Paintball Party Pics

Here are a few hi lights from B's party.

My crocs are here!!!

PhotobucketLook what came in the mail today!  I was SO excited!  Today was another GREAT day!  I'm hoping the weather warms up so I can actually wear these without freezing!  I can't wait to show them off.

Happy 12th Birthday Bonez!!!

PhotobucketToday is B's 12th birthday.  I can NOT believe I am old enough to have a 12yo!!!  That's insane.  I took him shopping, so he knew everything he was getting, but I still had to wrap everything, just because! :)  Here he is with all of his gifts.
Photobucket
Melissa laughed when she saw this pic & said "well, it's no wonder the shoes were so cheap, they don't match!"  Yes, he got 2 pair of shoes, the white pair he has been drooling over forever, they are Kobe's & he was so stoked when they had them in his size!  I even let him wear them to school today.  See, I can be nice when I want to be!!!
PhotobucketHere he is with his new Kobe hat, yep, he picked this out too.  He's so darn cute!
Every year, on the kids' b days, they get to pick where we go for dinner, the favorite seems to be Dairy Queen, this year was no exception.  We all went & celebrated his big day by going there, yee-ha!  This is a big birthday for him with church.  He'll be receiving the Priesthood & gets to start passing the sacrament, I think he's kind of nervous, but excited at the same time.  He also gets to start going to Young Mens, that is what he's really excited about!  This is a new beginning for him & I'm so proud of him.  He really is a great kid!  Happy birthday Bonez, I love you!

Image of Joy...

Photobucket
This picture actually brings tears to my eyes each time I see it.  No, not because C looks cold, but because of the "story" behind his relationship with his sister.  You see, C has always been "MY boy"; When I had Princess, he had a really hard time with it.  He didn't quite know where he fit in anymore.  It broke my heart when he came to see me at the hospital, he wouldn't even look at me, or the baby, he hid under a table most of the time.  He wouldn't even acknowledge either of us until she was a week old.  It tore me apart that he wouldn't let me help him with anything, or even talk to me like he used to.  One day, I had the baby laying on the couch behind us while I sat on the floor trying to help him with his homework, I looked back & he was holding her little hand.  That was the first time he had even touched her!  There has been no looking back since then.  The bond these 2 share is incredible!  They are so close, it just melts my heart every day.  He is the BEST big brother she could ever ask for.  Don't get me wrong, the other 2 love her too, but there is something very special about these 2 "C's"!  This is my joy!  I am so glad I get to experience it each & every day!!!

Sign of Spring...

Photobucket
Sign of Spring... this would be it.  One of the things I love best about spring time is going on bike rides with the kids.  We have so much fun together, there is a cool area not too far from our house that is absolutely beautiful & we like to go explore it on our bikes, I can't wait for it to warm up so we can go again.

Bad habit...

Photobucket
These are my bad habits.  I am seriously addicted to Cranberry Splash.  Unfortunately, (well, maybe it is a good thing) it's a seasonal flavor so I can only get it in the winter.  I'm down to my last 12 pack, I haven't opened it yet, I'm "rationing" & "saving" it.  For what?  I don't know, but I'll let you know when I figure it out!  The other is my cool little tin Melissa made me.  I actually blame her for this habit.  I've never been one to keep candy in the house, ever.  Well... at least not until she sent me this filled with different Hershey Kisses!  I've already filled it too many times to count!  Each time I feel it's getting too low, I go & find candy at the store to fill it back up with.  It sits on my scrap table, so it's opened constantly!  UGH!!!  But boy is it yummy!

Good Word...

Photobucket
Lakers is my good word.  This to me says "family", this is something that we all, my side of the family along with Mikes, hold tightly.  My dad is the one that got Mike's mom hooked.  It has now been passed down to my boys & I'm sure Chayli too.  Watching the Lakers is as common as breathing to the 6 of us, I honestly can't imagine my life without them, yes, I'm being 100% serious!  Anyway, this is my feel good word, it brings lots of happy (& even some not so) memories of my family.

Stacy's blog challenge...

PhotobucketHere is my "reflection of you" picture.    I can't believe Bonez is almost 12, that totally freaks me out!  Anyway, he is so much like me, he even looks like my side of the family.  I see so much of myself in him, some good, some bad, but I love him anyway! :)

My kids liked dinner!!!

I swear, I have THE pickiest kids ever!  Seriously picky.  I honestly think there are MAYBE 3 things that I make for dinner that the whole family will willingly eat complaint free.  Tonight, I can add 1 more to the short list.  I decided to make Hawaiian Haystacks.  Why you ask?  Because gosh darnit, I'm sick of eating "kid food" all the freakin time.  I decided tonight was going to be what *I* wanted & to heck with the rest of the family; That's why!  (Yeah, I know, I'm mean like that though).  So I ran to the store to pick up the rest of what I needed for dinner & also picked up a dozen donuts for dessert.  Let's just say that all 6 of us ate dinner, & not only did the boys eat it, they asked for more & LOVED it!!!  They had so much fun putting their "toppings" on their rice. It was really yummy too.  Of course, I'm sure it helped that they all wanted the donuts too, but hey, whatever works!  Tonight, I'm just glad they all ate.  Oh, & even better yet, because I ended up with 3 extra kids today, we went on a major cleaning spree, EXCEPT the toyroom.  I "bribed" the boys tonight, I told them if they cleaned the toyroom (that was trashed) while I cleaned up the dinner mess, they could have their donuts.  IT WORKED!!!  Talk about a win-win situation!

Ok, I'm outta here, night.

It's been a GREAT day!

Ok, I stole that from D's kinder teacher, they do a "cheer" at the end of each day, they choose the word, (good, or great) & yell "WE'VE HAD A GREAT DAY"; Well, that's how I feel about today.

Prince Charming is home, so that's a huge plus, I'm almost caught up on laundry (well, as caught up as one can be with a family of 6),  I got a phone call from my good friend in New Hampshire, I got my crocs (YEAH) (oh, & a pair of sandals for Princess that P Charming doesn't know about).  Ok, I have to tell you about these crocs, all last summer, I drooled over a pair of celery green Mary Jane's, man, I wanted these shoes so bad.  When I did finally find them in my size, I felt guilty about spending the $ on me, & of course, when I would finally talk myself into getting them, I couldn't find them.  Needless to say, I didn't get them;  I did get a pair of chocolate brown Cali Sketchers which I love, but they weren't my Mary Janes.  Ok, I decided this summer, I was going to break down & get them, but in a pink, or something else kind of fun & funky.  I've been watching ebay the last couple of weeks.  I found some!!!   Even better than the celery green are the floral ones.  I GOT THEM!!!  I paid for them today with buy it now & they were super cheap.  Man, talk about making my day! I should have them sometime next week.  Now if it would just stop snowing so I can actually wear them!  But wait, my day gets even better...

Next up is  b day shopping with Bonez.  He has been wanting a pair of "sic" tennis shoes that he found online.  That's what we were planning on getting him.  Today, I had a brilliant idea while in the shower, (yah, talk about multi tasking) I gave B the option of either us ordering the shoes for him, knowing they wouldn't be here in time for his actual b day, or I would take him to the Nike outlet.  He opted for shopping.  Him & I took off & wow, did we score!  He ended up getting 2 pair of shoes, a hat, a t shirt, a pair of jeans & a pair of dress pants all for LESS than we would have spent on the pair of shoes we were going to order!!!  Man, talk about fun!  The funniest part was seeing the look on M's face when he saw us walk in with our bags of goodies!

Yeah, I'VE HAD A GREAT DAY!!!

Oh, & tonight, B had his interview with the Bishop, Mike took him & said they would be right back.  Well, after an hour, I called his phone, no answer.  I called about 3-4 more times with still no answer.  It was snowing like crazy & I was starting to get worried.  FINALLY, a little before 9 I got ahold of him.  They were just leaving the church, as they were leaving the Bishop's office, they looked in the gym, the YM were having basketball practice & B was asked to stay & play.  Since he'll be 12 before the season actually starts, he gets to play on our ward's team, he's really excited.  Oh, & M said B just "schooled them", said he did really well, & he was by far the youngest & smallest out there.  I was so happy for B, this will a new phase in his life, but one that I'm hoping he'll enjoy.

Not only did I have a "GREAT" day, I had a "GREAT" night too!

6 word Memoir...

Ok, Joanie gave us an easy "extra" challenge this week.  Since this seems easier than Stacy's, I'll do this one first.  We are to come up with 6 words to "sum up your life", our "memoir".  Here goes...

storyteller
family
social
girly
faithful
cheerleader

Oops, it was pointed out that I only did 5, (Thanks Brandi!) so I just added my 6th...

I'll keep working on Stacy's pictures.

I'm a single mom...

...well, for a few days anyway.  Prince Charming left on a case early this morning.  No clue when he'll be back.  UGH, NOT the way I wanted to spend Spring Break, by myself with the kids here all day...  But ya know, it hasn't been that bad.  I stayed in bed & actually finished the book I was into, I even cried, it was SO glad!  For any of you looking for a good book, a good friend of mine recommended this series & man, they were AWESOME!  It's the "Twilight" series by Stephenie Meyers.  FANTABULOUS reading!  I'm actually kind of bummed that I'm done with them.  Now I'm on to Jodi Picoult's newest, "Change of Heart", I'll let  you know if that one is any good.

Anyway, while I was "busy" upstairs, the boys & Princess hung out downstairs, B even made everyone clean up so when I went down there, it was a nice surprise.  Ahhh, love a clean house, it just makes me feel good.

The rest of the day was spent hanging out & playing with the Princess while the boys played outside.  We did all go on a bike ride tonight & NO, I DID NOT FALL!!! :)  My legs are tired, but it was fun, I can't wait for the weather to get a little warmer so we can stay out longer.  Chay loves being on the back of the bike, she just giggles & talks to me.

Ok, I guess I better figure out something for dinner, although I'm sure all 4 kids would be just fine with eating the rest of the Easter candy.

Have a good one!

PIF

Ok, I have found this on a couple of different blogs that I read & thought it was a neat idea so I'm going to do it too.

"The idea of  the exchange is I will send a handmade gift to the first 3 people who leave a comment on this blog post requesting the join this PIF exchange.  I don't know what the gift will be yet, and you may not receive it tomorrow, or next week, but you will receive it within 365 days, that's my promise!  The only thing you have to do in return is pay it forward by making the same promise on your blog- this means you must have a blog, sorry blogless readers."

Happy Easter everyone!

Coloring eggs...

Mike is conveniently out of town so this was all left up to me, oh YAY, NOT!  I HATE dying eggs, like seriously hate it.  We actually don't do this every year because my boys don't enjoy it either.  B did NOT want to do any, I told him he needed to because I needed pics. LOL, am I a true scrapper or what?!  So, while B was gone this morning, I boiled a bunch of eggs & got them ready, once he got home, I got everything out so the fun could begin.  It actually turned out much better than I thought it would.  The kids were all patient & waited their turns, there was no fighting, it was just... FUN!  We did have a couple of touchy times, Princess started eating an egg, yep, shell & all, all 4 other kids (my niece is here too) yelled to "STOP", she got scared & the bumper lip came out, poor thing.  The other time was when C got frustrated because D was using all the "good stickers" & there weren't going to be enough left for him.  We took care of that one, started to clean up & an egg fell & of course broke, unfortunately, it was D's.  YIKES, as soon as he realized it was his beloved "friend", we saw the tears.  My quick thinking stopped them & turned his frown upside down!  (Score 1 for mom!).  Anyway, all in all, it was actually fun, I'm sure M will be so proud of me.  (I'm kidding of course, he won't even notice) but that's ok, it brought a little bit of joy to my day & that's all that matters! :)

Photobucket
I am SO not a video gamer.  Plain & simple, in fact, if we're being really honest here, I wasn't happy when Santa brought a ps2 for Christmas one year (6 years ago to be exact).  Ok, I've gotten used to it, I mean, really, what choice do I have, I am SO out numbered here living with all these boys, so whatever, it's here to stay at this point, let's make the best of it.  So, fast forward to Christmas 2006, what was under the Christmas tree... a ps3!!!  YIKES!  Now let's fast forward to this last Christmas.  Lo & Behold, Santa left Rock Band for the family. (I'm seriously thinking Santa & Mommy need to have a little chat, but I digress...).  Now, as much as I get sick of the noise, this has been the BEST thing that has ever been bought for the family. Honestly, it is the COOLEST!  Talk about a great family gift, we all have spent literally hours on this thing.  So how, you ask, does this fit into my challenge of "finding the joy" for the week?   Well, Dawsey went & got Daddy out of bed this morning so they could come & have some "bonding time".  I just sat here & was loving life.  The 2 of them were "rockin out" with Princess dancing & singing.  Well, actually, she was joining D singing, (I swear, that little 6yo knows almost all the words to these songs, it's crazy)!  It just brought a little bit of sunshine to a cold & snowy morning.

I think this has been on almost all day.  The kids came home from school & started taking turns playing (In between playing basketball outside).  My niece is staying with us tonight & they all had so much fun.  There wasn't any fighting & arguing, it was just laughter & giggles all night long.

I am so glad Santa doesn't always ask for permission before he brings gifts to this house, he obviously knows just what we need!

Long night = even longer day!

UGH!  So Princess has been fighting a cold.  I actually thought she was on the upside, she did great yesterday.  I went to bed around 11:30, 1 hour later, I heard crying, I drug my tired body in to see what was going on.  She would NOT stop crying, after trying everything I could think of, I climbed back into bed 45 minutes later.  1 1/2 hours later, she was SCREAMING, I'm not talking crying, I'm talking I don't know how my neighbors slept through it screaming.  I was up for over an hour with her.  I figured at this point, it was an ear infection, I did everything I could for the poor thing, she kept crying for daddy, but when I handed her off, she screamed for me.  She was miserable.  She was literally writhing in pain, it was horrible to watch, esp since I didn't know what else I could do for her.  I FINALLY got her to go back to sleep sometime close to 3am.  I had to be up at 6:15 for Bray.  I drug myself downstairs.  He left, & that meant it was time for me to get up & ready.  Con had a dentist appt at 8.  I got Mike up so he could watch Princess Tornado because of course, she didn't sleep in either.  I left... Con & I got home, it's picture day for him, (poor thing, I hope the swelling went down & he wasn't still numb by the time his class got pics done,) these could be interesting! :)  As I'm leaving to take him, Chay is still holding her ear & screaming so I call the doctor's office.  Great, they can get us in in 1 hour.  I run Con to school, then head back home.  Her & I quickly get ready & leave.  (I can't stand her doctor, I seriously need to change docs, I do NOT want to go back to this lady, but that's another story)... anyway, my little Princess has a double ear infection.

I got Dawsey off to school, Mike is gone & is picking up her prescription & I'm EXHAUSTED!!!  As of right now, the thing that is bringing me the most "joy" is... Chay is asleep & I'm headed there too.  Night...

Mommy's helper...

Photobucket"So I decided to make some cookies today, not really sure why, so don't ask!  Those of you that know me know that this is so NOT me.  Anyway, I decided to let the Princess help.  Ok, I didn't have much choice seeing how she pulled up a chair & climbed right up.   So, I had the chocolate chips out on the counter, (the yummy milk chocolate kind) and well, she knows what's good!  She was so funny, she was taking little handfuls (duh, of course they're little, she's not even 2!) & dumping them in the bowl when I wasn't looking, when I looked up & saw her, she got the cutest look on her face, she thought she was going to be in trouble.  Poor thing!  Once she realized she wasn't in any danger, she dug right in & really started having fun! (Ok, I think it was more like 1 handful in the mouth, 1 in the bowl, but that's alright).   She was SO cute to watch, she was having a blast.  Today was a first of what I'm sure will be many more, baking days with my girl!  I guess this is just one of the "perks" that comes from getting my Princess, man, the boys NEVER wanted to help make the cookies, they're more like all the animals in the story of the little red hen, no one wanted to help, but everyone wanted to eat.  Yep, those are my boys.  Good thing I have Princess to help me out with keeping the boys fed!  We had so much fun together, so this is my "little bit of joy" for today.

Just a little bit of joy...

Con used to be an avid reader.  UNTIL... big brother decided it would be funny to give him a hard time about it & started making fun of him.  Now, it's all I can do to get either of them to read.  Con is working his way "around the world" with his AR reading at school.  Anyway, he came downstairs this morning & made the comment out of the blue, that he REALLY wanted to read "Among the Hidden".  Ok, once I realized that I wasn't sleeping anymore, that he really honestly did say that, I called his teacher (I needed to chat with her anyway).  Because this isn't necessarily an AR book, (It's a book Bray had to read for MS) I wanted to know if it was something he could read & get credit for.  Hey, why not kill 2 birds with 1 stone, right.  I told her I would send it in with Con so she could look at it & make a decision.  We would also keep the Unfortunate Events he checked out yesterday, that way, he'll have a book to read during spring break too.

Anyway, I thought it was so cool that a book that Bray read for school was so "cool" that he got his brother excited about it too.

Ok, something else that I got a chuckle out of, I was doing Bubby's hair today, & he was talking about something (I can't remember what...) & I told him I would make him a deal, that if he did XYZ, I would let him stay home from school all next week.  His eyes got so big "Really?  The WHOLE week", "yep, the whole week, you can stay home".  "What about Con, can he stay home too?"  "Sure, why not".  "Ok, what about B?"  "Nah, he has to go to school."  He started getting a sad look on his face so I quickly said  "Oh, ok, Bray can stay home too then."  He OBVIOUSLY doesn't understand that there is NO school next week, it's spring break!!!  I'm not letting him in on my secret, I'm letting him think he has the coolest mom in the world! :)

Too funny!

Ok, keeping with Melissa's challenge, I have 2 things I'm going to tell ya about.  The first, Princess Tornado isn't feeling well, she was sitting here with me, playing with her electronic Dr set thing.  She got the pieces out, you know the thing the doc uses to hit your knee with to check reflexes, well, she was using that on my leg & pushing the button at the same time.  It makes these silly noises.  OMGosh, she thought that was the funniest thing ever, it was hilarious.  She had that deep belly laugh going & of course, I was getting a "kick" out of watching & listening to her.  I know it really wasn't a huge deal, but since she had been so miserable, it was nice to see a little big of her "normal happy self" come through.  (ok, could be all the meds I keep pumping her full of) :)

Ok, now for the next... all I ask is that you don't judge me just by this post.

So 2 of the boys & I decide to go on a bike ride, I strap P Tornado onto my bike (into her seat) & off we go.  We get across the street & are about 1/2 way up the hill & my chain falls off.  UGH
Bray keeps my bike steady so I can fix it.  On our way again, we go around the neighborhood, just cruisin along.  On our way back, I'm feelin pretty good, so decide to go past our street & go "the long way" home.  BIG mistake!!!
There's a hill that way.  Ok, not a big hill, in fact, the boys didn't even realize it was a hill, but what do they know... so I'm looking & thinking, there's NO way in hockeyland that I'm makin it to the top.  I start pretending I'm the little engine that could, you know, "I think I can, I think I can..." yeah, well, nice thought, but my legs were reading a different story altogether it turns out.  I stopped.  Yep, I stopped, I could.not.go.another.inch.  I swear, my legs were like jelly, so when I stopped, my bike fell over; WITH PRINCESS STILL ATTACHED!!!  I couldn't do anything.  I just stood there looking at her.  Poor thing, she was strapped in, sunglasses &, big ol helmet on, just laying on her side still "sitting" in her seat.  She just looked up at me & all I could do was laugh!  It was so funny.  Then SHE started to laugh.  Dawsey was at the end of the street, wondering where the heck the rest of us were, he turns around & sees us stopped, (I think we may have been standing upright at that point), and says "Mom, is Chay okay, I just want to make sure she's alright".  "Yeah honey, everything is fine, why don't you & B head on home, I'll meet you there".

Ok, for some reason,, I find this absolutely hilarious, in fact, when I was retelling my story to Melissa, I was laughing so hard, I honestly thought I was going to pee my pants!  I had tears streaming down my face.  Con wanted to know what was so funny, I was giving him a play by play & was laughing so hard, he couldnt' even understand me.  So Melissa told me I needed to add this to my blog, it obviously brought me a lot of "joy" today.  I'm LOL as I'm typing this so I start filling Mike in, (he wanted to know what was so funny & why I was giggling).  He laughed, but not at my story necessarily, but AT me!  He said it must be one of those "location jokes" where you had to have been there.  Whatever, the challenge was to blog about something that brought ME joy & man, this did!

There ya have it, 2 things that I smiled about today.  There were many more, but we'll save those for another day! :)

SS Blog Challenge #9

The challenge this week is brought to us by Melissa in Waco.  Here it is:
This week, my challenge to you is to blog one thing, each day, that has brought a smile to your face.  Could be something as simple as the first bloom of spring, a silly comment from a child, or a blessing you've received.  As I read through the prayer requests on SS, many of us are facing what seem to be insurmountable odds.  I've had a hard time recently focusing on the joys in my life & have been letting our problems bring me down.  I'm not suggesting we ignore issues; rather, let's find a piece of joy in each day.

Mike & I, along with 7 other couples at church are taking a Family Relations class.  I love it, it's been fun getting to know the other couples & we're really enjoying ourselves, it's something I look forward to each week.  Of course, Princess Tornado was coughing & couldn't go into the nursery, so Mike & I had her with us.  At the beginning of the lesson, we were told to be thinking about an attribute that we admired about our spouse, we were going to share later.  I knew right away what I was going to say about Prince Charming.  During the class, P Tornado,  started getting bored, so I kept her out in the "hallway" (copy room) & just kind of peeked my head in to hear what was going on.  So, we go around, I said my part, & then it's M's turn.  I was SCARED!  I had NO  clue what he would say.  He surprised me, without even stopping to think, he answered "I admire her patience".  I seriously, thought I was going to fall over!  I am NOT a patient person, not even a little bit.  He went on to say that he loves & admires that I stay home & take care of 4 children all day & also take care of him too.  He feels like most of the time, he's my 5th child.  He said a little more but that was the gist of it.  It just made me smile & feel good.    So today, my Prince Charming gave me a huge compliment & for that, has made my day!

Happy Birthday Goldfish!!!

Ok, so I call my little sis tonight to wish her a happy birthday, you know what she says to me... "YOU need to update your blog"!!!  Uh, yeah, whydoncha take your own advice there girlie?!  We laugh & she informed me she hadn't even checked mine. :)  Yeah, whatever!  I'm just givin ya a hard time, I know you were busy getting ready to go out for your big day.

Anyway, I just wanted to wish you a very happy birthday & let you know how proud I am of you.  You are working so hard on getting in shape, you set a goal & are doing great!

Hey goldfish, just remember... "IT'S FOR YOU"!!!  You're a great little sis & I love you!  Love, Pony

SS Blog Challenge

Ok, I decided I would go ahead & take this challenge.  I'm to list my favorite & least favorite part of my day.  (Something like that).

My favorite, I think I have lots of "favorites", or at least parts that I really like, but I love first thing in the morning, everyone else is sleeping & Bray is getting ready to leave for school.  I'm laying down on the couch & every day, he says "Bye mom" & I answer back "Bye honey, have a good day, I love you" & he answers back "I love you too", then I hear the door shut.  I LOVE that, it's become our little routine.  I know it sounds small, but to those of you with tweens, you know how HUGE it is.

My least favorite... probably a tie...  right after the boys get off the bus & walk in, it's total chaos for those first few minutes.  Both boys are trying to talk at the same time, they want food & want it YESTERDAY.  It's just LOUD & crazy.  The other part that I don't like is trying to figure out what we're having for dinner & then actually making it.  Well, I don't mind making it, it's the complaints that I get after I make it that I HATE.  I swear, I have the pickiest kids ever, drives me crazy.

Anyway, there you have it, the best & worst of my days.

Picture play...

Ok, so I noticed on Photobucket recently that they added some new editing features.  Today was the first chance I've had to play around.  HOLY COW, this could seriously become addicting!  This was so much fun.  Here's a pic I "edited" of Princess Tornado.

Little girls... Sugar & Spice?!

I know, I know, I prayed & prayed for a little Princess, I get it, it's all my fault...  BUT... OMgosh, this child... YIKES,  she's gonna do me in, seriously!

Ok, so she wakes up this morning sounding like a seal.  Ok, look up croup on the internet, sure enough, sounds exactly like what she has.  Weird, she's been totally fine, not even a yucky nose, NO other symptoms, nothing, nada, none whatsoever, ok, whatever.  Then, as fast as it came on, seemed to be "gone", well, alright, I know what to watch for, so I'm not going to worry too much about it & I'll just be prepared for a long night.

She is in playing in her toyroom, being as good as can be, seriously, the only reason I knew she was in there was because I could hear her little airplane singing.  Perfect, ahhh, life is good.  Bray is at school, Con & Dawsey are playing a video game together, Mike is still sleeping, I'm chatting with a friend online.  Life just doesn't get much better than this.  UNTIL...

I smelled something... hmmm, Princess must have a dirty diaper, but that's weird, she's in another room, I shouldn't smell it from here...  ok, time to go check things out...

OMGosh, she was sitting on the floor with all her little toys around, FINGER PAINTING WITH HER  POOP!!!  HOLY COW, what the heck did I do to ever deserve this?!

I carried her as carefully as I possible could & as I was sitting there losing it in the toilet, got her cleaned up enough that I could throw her in the tub.  UGH! (Oh, not before I went to wake up Prince Charming by YELLING at him that HIS daughter had been finger painting... & I wasn't sure if she was going to make it through the day)  You know what he did, he laughed, yeah, he LAUGHED!!!  Well, fine then, YOU get up & clean her up, let's see how funny you think THAT is!

Anyway, after I got everything cleaned up, I found one of my favorite outfits of hers, a Disney Princess outfit Aunt Debie gave her & put it on her, I even did her hair cute (ok, those that know me know that happens every day, but still).   I figured I needed her to look as cute as possible so I could get the other image out of my head (is that even possible, I know the smell is here to stay...).

I just want to know where the whole "little girls are full of sugar & spice" came from...  holy cow, she is definitely "full of" something, I'm just not sure WHAT!!!  She gets into things & does things the boys NEVER did.

SO I guess it's days like this that I need to take a step back & really thank the Lord for giving me such great boys!!! :)  Ok, I thank Him daily for my Princess too, I can't imagine life without her, it definitely would be BORING, that's for sure!!!

Majical Mayhem

Tryin something new...

Ok, I've decided to give this a try.  I have no clue what I'm doing, so feel free to leave me some comments (well, if they're good ones that is!) LOL

So I was just telling my Prince Charming about my new blog & told him the name I came up with.  He's afraid people will think I'm an idiot for not knowing how to spell magic correctly. I figure if you want to think that, well, go ahead, I can't stop you.  BUT, I'll explain anyway, just to make him feel better. :)  My DH's nickname has always been Majic, I've kind of adopted it, well, on SS anyway ;).  I felt like it was pretty fitting for my life, it's full of majical moments & also lots of mayhem, I'm going to try to capture some of that here.  So, there you have it, the story of why Majic is spelled "wrong".

Ok, I am sitting here, IMing a friend of mine & Princess Tornado walks into the room with her baby.  She laid the baby down on the table, left & then came back with a diaper wipe.  She left again, this time she came back with a diaper for her baby.  HOLY COW, she's totally changing her baby's diaper, complete with wipe!!!  She even threw the "dirty" diaper away.    I'm telling you, this girl is a hoot, she keeps us laughing all the time, she's definitely the life of the party & LOVES being the center of attention!  Guess it's a good thing she's the only girl huh?

Ok, I'm going to see if this works, if it does, I'll be back for more fun later.
Don't forget your comments! :)
