I DID IT!!!

What did I do you ask? Well, I cut the Princess's hair!!! I finally decided it just needed to be done so I bit the bullet & got out the scissors & started cutting before I could change my mind. UGH, I took the first *snip* & let me tell you, I literally got sick to my stomach! I finished up (keep in mind I have NEVER cut hair before, well, that's not entirely true, I used to do the boys', but trust me, I have NO idea what I'm doing). I seriously had to keep my self from crying! I'm still kind of in shock, I just keep looking at her & it's so weird. I KNOW that in the long run, this will be the best thing I could have done, I KNOW her hair will come in thicker & grow faster because of it. I also KNOW it's still a shock!

Those of you that know me even a little bit, know this is a HUGE deal. Yes, I'm going to be limited in what I can do with her hair now, but don't fear, I have some ideas. I'll just have to modify some of the 'do's I do. LOL

Ok, I'll stop blabbing now & give you what you're actually waiting for... the pics! (Please don't be too harsh, I TOLD you I didn't know what I was doing)!

Here's a back shot of right before the 1st *snip*...

The back, right after...

The side, right after...

All Done...

***It really is straight, in this last pic it looks like 1 side is shorter, that's because I have that side pulled up, so you're just seeing part of the pony.***

I LOVE IT!!! I did that to Adrie's not too long ago, and it's so long now, you can't even tell. Caile kinda did that to hers on Sunday. I just don't have the heart to cut it all of though, so she just has some big chunks out of it for now!!!

It's ADORABLE Brenda! Nice job:)! I really think keeping it trimmed up for awhile does help it to grow in nice and thick. That's what I did with all of my girls hair and I'm so glad I did:)

Copy cat LOL. She looks so cute! Riley has hers in low ponies today and it turned out fine! There is plenty you can do with this new style :)

She looks adorable!!! You should keep it that length Brenda!! She's reminding me of Emily at that age with her new little do. How did she react? I know she loves her pretty hair as much as her mamma does!

Oh, it's so cute! You'll love it shorter! We had Lillian's cut earlier in the summer and it is so much better, because now she can brush her own hair! No more tangles! You did an awesome job.

Good job! I would never dare cut my girls hair though. My only experience with trying to be a hair stylist was when Matt and I were dating and I was trying to trim his hair with clippers....I thought it was no big deal and would be a cinch. First swipe and I made a huge hole in his hair and couldn't stop laughing so he took the clippers away and said I was done. But you got skills, girl. You did awesome! And she looks cute!

I love it like that! You are brave. I tried to do the girls' bangs once. Once. Never again. LOL
