I'm a single mom...

...well, for a few days anyway.  Prince Charming left on a case early this morning.  No clue when he'll be back.  UGH, NOT the way I wanted to spend Spring Break, by myself with the kids here all day...  But ya know, it hasn't been that bad.  I stayed in bed & actually finished the book I was into, I even cried, it was SO glad!  For any of you looking for a good book, a good friend of mine recommended this series & man, they were AWESOME!  It's the "Twilight" series by Stephenie Meyers.  FANTABULOUS reading!  I'm actually kind of bummed that I'm done with them.  Now I'm on to Jodi Picoult's newest, "Change of Heart", I'll let  you know if that one is any good.

Anyway, while I was "busy" upstairs, the boys & Princess hung out downstairs, B even made everyone clean up so when I went down there, it was a nice surprise.  Ahhh, love a clean house, it just makes me feel good.

The rest of the day was spent hanging out & playing with the Princess while the boys played outside.  We did all go on a bike ride tonight & NO, I DID NOT FALL!!! :)  My legs are tired, but it was fun, I can't wait for the weather to get a little warmer so we can stay out longer.  Chay loves being on the back of the bike, she just giggles & talks to me.

Ok, I guess I better figure out something for dinner, although I'm sure all 4 kids would be just fine with eating the rest of the Easter candy.

Have a good one!

I'm glad that you were able to have a fun and semi relaxing day! Mom and Dad have Conner and Alia until tomorrow, so it's been VERY nice! Just take 1 or 2 out and it changes everything! I hope the rest of the week is as easy for you.

Welcome to single parenthood, Brynn!

How sweet that B had everyone clean up. I, too, love a clean house...but I don't usually get one!
