Choose Joy... LOVE

This isn't the picture I was talking about earlier, hopefully I'll remember my camera & get a pic in the morning. This is better anyway though. LOL

Today was crazy, I picked up the boys & pulled in the driveway, noticed there was a package on the porch. Hmmm, not sure what that could be, I am expecting something, but it certainly shouldn't be here yet & well, it should be in a much bigger box. I literally jump out of the car (I THINK I stopped the car first) so I could get to the box before the boys. I had NO idea what the heck it was, I was completely stumped. It was addressed to me, but I didn't see a return addy. I did see a green "customs" slip on it that said something about biscuits & lollies. Hmmm, OH, (that's when the lightbulb went on) LOL. I couldn't wait to get in the house & open my box of goodies.

Ok, let me explain. A while ago on SS, there was a thread about some cool Australian/New Zealand treats. I had NO clue what they were raving about, so I decided to just go ahead & ask. I ended up googling it & found this. Okay, sounds yummy, but not anything I could find here, so never mind. The next thing I know I get a PM from someone asking for my addy, she wants to send me a package. HOLY COW!

Fast forward to today...I GOT THE BEST PACKAGE!!! Liz was incredibly generous, OMGosh, she went above & beyond let me tell you! She not only sent lots of goodies, but little notes attached so I knew what they were & why she included them. Anyway, I had never even chatted with Liz before this. I "know" her from the board, but not well by any means.

I can't even begin to explain how I feel about SS. I went through a pretty bad situation last year & when I was at my lowest, it was a group of women, who I had never even met, that rallied around & pulled me through. I have made the best friends, some I have met, others I haven't. Some I could possibly meet in the future, but unfortunately many more that I will never meet. That certainly doesn't make our friendship any less meaningful.

Okay, I'm totally rambling here, my point was that today, amidst the hecticness (is that a word?! LOL) someone did something that made me stop & smile. It was such a bright spot, not only for me, but for my kids too. I think they were just as excited as I was. They were even stoked to find a "treat" picked especially for them!

I love what SS has brought to my life. I hope & pray that I can one day be in a position to do the same & make someone elses day, just because!

Thanks Liz, I couldn't have asked for a better Christmas gift, I LOVED all the "Downunder" goodies, they were SO yummy!!!
